Hi Jim,

I can tell you that _some_ pumps will not work in series with one of
them shut off.  I had that problem once when I had an electric fuel pump
in series with the mechanical pump on my Suburban.  What happens is that
sometimes when the electric pump stops, it allows flow, and other times
it does not.  I'm sure not all pumps are made the same so there may be
other kinds of pumps that would be OK.  Sorry, it was several years ago
and a couple of different pumps ago so I don't know what pump I was
using.  I'm now using electric only.  These were low pressure pumps
also, probably around 5 psi or so.

I'm still wondering if:
Can any (or all) electric pumps can be plumbed in series and pass fuel
when shut off
Are there any regulators that can be adjusted as low as 25 psi

Does anybody have these answers for me ? ... Jim S.
