I had the same reservations concerning the heat muff scat tubing. I ran a 2"
aluminum tube back to the carb airbox and clamped it to the side of the
engine. I made a silicone/fiberglass elbow to connect the heat muff to the
tubing. I can send you or Marv pictures if you are interested.
