I've decided to install EGT and CHT probes in my LNC2.  Looking for a low
cost route, I was wondering about the suitability of the Electronics
International SR-8A Smart Engine Analyzer.  Has anyone installed and flown
one of these engine scanners?  If so, would you recommend this unit?  What
is the advantage of spending an additional $200 for the programmable unit? I'm out of panel space so I have to live with an instrument that fits in a 2.5" dia. hole.
