Greetings from a new subscriber,
Does anyone know about a foam that is inserted in the fuel bays that
keeps fuel contained during a crash. An ex NTSB investigator friend of mine
suggested that I use this foam but he didn't know any details. He said that
you pay about a one quart penalty for fuel load but in the event of a crash
fuel doesn't splash all over everything. This seems like a reasonable
safety precaution since we are using wet wings and it would keep fuel
sloshing to a minimum. Any info pro or con would be helpful.
Thanks, J. Lunceford
