As a kid at heart, I chalenge everyone that couldn't every begin
thinking that Lean of Peak operation even *might* be better for the
engine, to read: http://www.avweb.com/articles/pelperch/pelp0035.html

I believe the most religious ROP minds can't even finish reading through
it :-)

Well enough for teasing. I have no association with avweb. This is the
only place I know of where somebody is looking after facts and truths
about how this whole thing works instead of just shooting isolated facts
that aren't true across the board. If you like this article, there about
12 of the total, exploring the basic facts about MP, RPM, Mixture,
turbo, with enough overlap you'll trully understand how those fire
breathers really work.

After you finish reading it, you'll be glad you did.

By the way, the author's engine is an IO-550 turbonormalized with
regular higher compression pistons, on a Bonanza.
