Hal Woodruff recently obtained shorter (12-73A) main wing attachment bolts for a number of builders. When we tried to obtain more, we found the stock in that size exhausted and the alternative bolts available both very expensive and still too long. I have therefore arranged with the owner of Horizon Tech in Fort Worth, TX to cut, rethread and replate our existing bolts. If you wish to participate, the cost will be $12 per bolt, including one-way shipping to a US location. You'll need to carefully measure the distance between the outside surface of the front and rear fuselage spar web bushings (where the bolts fit; setting the shank length of the needed bolt) and advise me soonest. If all measurements are within 1/8th inch, we'll cut and thread all bolts to the same specification; if there is a greater variance, we'll cut and thread each pair to the required length.  Please advise me of the shank length you require as soon as possible by email at the address below. I'll then send you the shipping and other details by return.
