I saw not too long ago someone mentioning the hydraulic pack (motor and reservoir) are the same as the trim motors on boats.  Ironically, last week my son took our 1988 Sylvan ski boat out for some fun with his friends (tubing) and called me when the trim wouldn’t go down.  I drove out to the lake with some tools and after pulling some access panels, was floored to see the trim motor was the exact same thing as I got from Lancair for my gear hydraulic pack.  The problem was simply cured by filling the reservoir (which I am sure is not your problem), but I am wondering if you approached this from the angle of this motor coming out of your “ski boat”, if more reasonable options would surface?
