Ive
had better luck using the wing mounts than the tail or fuselage jack points (IV-P).
It appears that heat from the exhaust distorts the picture slightly if the camera is mounted under the fuselage. Much
better results under the wing.
I’ve seen a mount made of fiberglass that fits like a shoe on the front of the vertical stabilizer, but have not had a chance to try this.
Several people have successfully fastened the
GoPro camera to the outside of the fuselage with double sided tape, but I wasn’t willing to risk losing my camera or whacking someone, so I’ve used a mechanical fastening so far, to include putting a screw through the base of the
GoPro to attach it to the aluminum plate that I bolt to the tie-down.

hi there
make a bracket that screws into a tie down ring thread or the jacking point thread and have the other side(end) of the bracket attach to the screw hole in the bottom of the camera

Anyone have a good trick to secure the camera to the plane? Where do I buy or how do I make it?
