Gees Brent!

Yes, I feel the arrows in my back!  Lighten up a little bit!  Hey, if vacuum was good enough for Wiley Post, it is good enough for lots of people--especially the FAA!

And, not everyone can afford a 20K or 30K black box that itself will be outdated in a couple years, to be replaced with something with more Gigs, more Hertz, more of whatever.

And yes, my grandchild will probably see vacuum pumps used on the planes in his generation--the more things change, the more they remain the same.
