I wanted to thank some folks for helping me get my airplane flying.
Chris Zavatson for the hours spent talking about building it and getting his frank and honest appraisal about many things too numerous to mention.
Dave Cole for getting me back into to the pilot's seat and helping me prepare for my FAA medical exam.
Peter Zaccagnino for his classes and for spending several days with me getting it ready to fly. The tedious checkout, high speed taxies and the thoroughness and care that you took.
Ernie Sutter for the first flight, for flying off the Phase I flight time, you instruction, mentorship and kindness.
Bob Jeffery for his additional instruction and mentorship (yes Bob, I know, we're not done yet :) ).
Barrett Precision Engines for a fantastic motor. I sent them a factory remain, they cermNIL'd the cylinders, added a dash of GAMI, tweaked tolerances and ran it for hours on their test stand. The engine appears to have sealed up (even after sitting around for 6 years) and is running great.
To all on this list. It has been great reading and listening to everything going on here. You have helped me to make decisions and carefully evaluate my choices. And finally to Lancair for designing and making a wonderful, capable, and safe airplane. For there dedication and risk they have taken to remain in business. To their wonderful employees including Justin, Kim, Michelle, Carla and Deborah for all your help and patience as I plodded through this journey.
I still have much to learn, but I'm having a GREAT time doing it.
The Legacy is a FANTASTIC!! airplane
Thank you,
Kevin
