I don't know how many of us might be affected by the potential ECi cylinder AD, but here is an interesting article by Mike Busch, a pilot, A&P, and owner of Savvy Aviator, Inc., which among other things manages the maintenance on many Cirrus airplanes.  He makes a good case that replacing the cylinders would likely do more harm than good.
