For reference: Attached is a picture of jacking using the pads which I think came from Lancair.  The bucket at back is filled with concrete and rolls on wheels so it is easy to move in the hangar and this scenario keeps the tail from moving upwards (or downwards).  A photo of the bucket arrangement is attached.

Using a different Legacy in this  youtube video  my Legacy has integral jack points on the spar.   Note how close the jacks are to the gear. In this scenario I need to support the tail from dropping.   That's how sensitive the CG is in that area.  So, remember that if someone is climbing in/out of the plane while on jacks.  You can't afford to have the tail pop up or down and risk sliding off the jacks.  The retraction has a lot of motion so having backups to protect the airplane make a lot of sense.

Some gotchas:  Make sure there's clearance before moving things under power.    All the actuators move easily by hand with the dump valve open so use that time to look for binding or stiffness anywhere.  Always red flag the dump valve and the safety switch (if bypassed) so that you remember to put all those things back in place properly before coming off jacks and going flying. If working solo or with people, make a checklist on what to do before you come off the jacks.  You can even red flag the gear switch so that it is in the proper position for ground.
