Runaway trim is a potential killer. Look up the fatal Glastar crash in the NTSB
files -- possible cause. Make sure the trim system is not able to cause this
type of problem. I know I wouldn't catch it fast enough to pop the breaker.

I haven't figured it out yet, and I'm interested in suggestions too.
