Leaks have always been a concern of mine with this system. One thing I did was to pay to have weldments inside the tank to avoid the possibility of the through bolt leaking fluid out the bottom of the tank. However a line leak downstream of the hand pump during flight would seem to carry the likely risk of a gear up landing. Hopefully Laurie can dream up a fix.
A reasonable question, though, is do we know of anyone having had to land gear up or partially deployed due to loss of hydraulic fluid Ina IV or IVP?
