Do you *really* want the FAA to step into the Experimental Amateur Built world with what's essentially a type rating requirement? This is a first step towards setting performance and handling characteristic limits on homebuilts, and then things like the Evo and IVP disappear and you're left with TBM-700 and Piper Meridian.
