My 2cents.  Fly some acro, even if just a citabria or cub.  I will limit my acro in my 360 to rolls and maybe a split s, but everyone should have some proficiency-it can save your butt!  My old kitfox would do little, a roll always resulted in a split S, but my next kitfox, now abuilding, will have the performance of the famous Jimmy Franklin airshow demo, thanks to 110 horses and a clipped wing.

Next, how does anyone get into a departure stall in a Lancair?  It’s all I can do to get the gear up before the speed builds and tears the doors off.  Then I am climbing at 150 and 1000 fpm.  An approach stall?  More likely since these birds do not like  little short base legs.  I would recommend planning a base leg at least one mile.  Stay away from steep turns in the pattern!

Finally, if you don’t like oxy, why fly a Lancair?  How you gonna go to Aspen?  In spite of the scare stories, it’s cake in my L360, long as vis is good
