Subject: [LML] 6ZQ maiden voyage

Another IV took to the sky yesterday afternoon. After 8 years of work 6ZQ finally flew. The first flight went well with just some minor squawks. Basically it flew straight and fast.

Here’s a list of some of this birds characteristics:

    No winglets
    No step
    No spoilers
    No pressurization
    No turbo
    No air conditioner
    No fuel selector valve
    No deice
    No internal rudder bar
    No build shop
No professional assistance at all (we did our own paint, interior, avionics...everything)
3 alternators, 3 batteries, 3 independent electrical systems
124 gallon fuel capacity in 4 place configuration
184 gallon fuel capacity in 2 place configuration
400 gallon fuel capacity in 1 place configuration
Header tank, just like the 320
    1,945 pound empty weight
