For me, I would get the best stuff possible, rather than use resin.
Once the tank is together, going back later if there is a leak that developed
after hours of flying is not very enticing. Seems to me that resin
is at the bottom of the acceptable list of materials to use. Any
flexing of the tank could cause a resin crack.
