To Pete and the many others who responded thanks very much for your input.  It’s amazing how many sources there are that folks are happy with.  I used the first advice I got -  from Marvin for SkyRanch.  A 56” piece of Teflon lines SS braided hose -8 size was $114.06.  They said they’d ship the next evening after the order taken. 

Seems like a very good transaction so far.

[Sacramento Sky Ranch (http://www.sacskyranch.com/) has been recommended here numerous times and with good reason, they fabricate excellent hoses at reasonable prices.  Their molded internal firesleeve hoses (124J Stratoflex) are tough to beat... crimped stainless fittings, etc, and they cost less fully fabricated than just the parts (hose, AN fittings, firesleeve, clamps, etc) needed to roll your own.   Talk to Michael Temple, (916) 421-7672.  <marv>    ]
