I rivited aluminum strips on the top of the gear box to create a level surface.  Then I did a micro release three times to insure that I had a perfectly level contact with gearbox cover.  I then added a thin gasket between the gearbox and the cover  Finally I added a gasket to the flange at the rear of the gearbox cover where it contacts the seat back.

When all that was done, I went back and drilled holes thru the gearbox cover over the grease fittings so I don't have to remove the cover each annual.  Yes, I also added a little cover and gasket over each hole.

For a more detailed inspection, I can remove Dukes pressure controller, bucket and all....and finally, drop the main gear doors, to see practically everything back there.

Hope this helps

Considering that you have to remove the aft seat pan to do the condition inspection, what have you done to provide the pressure sealing of the pan to the LG Box?
