Dear John,
Here are my suggestions
* Stop the flyovers of the forums by the helicopters. It is very hard to
hear the speakers and the rotors shake the projectors.
* Need more spread on the porta potties; present quantities seem ok. They
just need to be spaced more conveniently.
* Cut down on the vehicular traffic. Are there really that many important
people that have to drive around all the time?
* Resupply the vendors during off hours when no one is around, especially the
waste trucks.
* Cut out the non airplane vendors or put them somewhere other than the fly
market or hangars A~D.
* Screen the presenters to eliminate the flim flam artists; one of them I
understand did time for fraud. Does EAA really want to be associated with
this type of individual? And as a note, he had two forum presentations!
* Forums 4A, 4B, 5A, and 5B were too small; too many people had to sit
outside. Some were so noteworthy that the tents could not support the
number of people interested in the topic.
* Sell parking and admission tickets before the convention to eliminate lines
and to get a better handle on the numbers of attendees. Sell a program
ticket in advance which can be presented at any EAA merchandise location so
that you do not have to mail it to everyone and to cut down on the
admission lines.
* If you sell weekly attendance, why not weekly parking with an express lane
to expedite traffic to the parking areas.
Hope this helps.
