Gary,
To legally fly IFR GPS approaches, don't I need either RAIM or WAAS?
And would an iPad with +3G qualify if I mounted it to the panel? --- and added BadElf?
I don't understand this:
... whether or not you'll want/need WAAS. Yes it gives you
options, but you may just discover that the surrounding weather pattern may
keep you on the ground or out of the area. If you don't need WAAS,
Are you saying one could legally fly GPS IFR approaches without RAIM or WAAS?
Or just that I can fly IFR GPS but not the approaches?
It's the approaches I'm interested in.
Did you go to Branson? I was disappointed in GAMI's talk, and was hoping to ask George some questions.
Did the "Fly Girls Restaurant" close, at Smartt? We enjoyed flying over there from Greenville IL.
Thanks for the info...
