Hello everyone:

We are now three weeks away from the 7th Annual Napa Fly In October 14, 15, and 16. HPAT will be conducting flight training and ground school and we have a whole weekends' worth of activities for you!  See the attached.  Friday night,Tomas and Debbie Holbrook are flying in the Basque dinner for an outdoor meal at the Nut Tree airport. Saturday after the ground school there will be a tour of the Suisun Valley Farm Stands and Wineries. Farm Days Open House is happening all weekend, so we can visit some special venues not normally open. Saturday evening we are pleased to announce that Peter Granoff will be joining us for a special wine and cheese tasting before dinner at the Gainzas'. Peter is an owner/partner of both the Oxbow Wine Merchant (www.oxbowine.com), in the famous Oxbow Market in Napa, and the Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant, in the Ferry Building Market in San Francisco (www.fpwm.com). His congenial expertise will provide added enjoyment as we taste three local handmade cheeses paired with three different types of wine. Following the tasting, Peter will be available for questions as we enjoy a harvest dinner centered around some delicious natural Callicrate beef, flown in for us by Mike Callicrate of Colorado Springs (ranchfoodsdirect.com).

If you have not scheduled your flight time, please contact Glenda McKinney at HPAT, and please note our arrangement with the Marriott Courtyard for $89 per night including a breakfast buffet expires if you have not made a reservation by THIS FRIDAY, September 30! You can get a room, but not at that price after this Friday...The identifier for the Vacaville Nut Tree airport is KVCB. If you need the complete fly in information, an updated copy is attached. For further questions, please contact either Sandy Gainza at sgza@hotmail.com or Glenda McKinney at glenda@hp-at.com. Thanks!

Craig and I look forward to seeing you for this special weekend.
