Pat Halloran:  I've got 53 hours on a Magnum prop and 32 more on a Magnum+
(high-pitch) on a 180 hp engine.  My experience to date with the Ivoprops is
great but even Ivo acknowledges that the Magnum works more harmoniously with
bigger hp engines--something to do with harmonics and frequency of pulses.

I do intend to write to this forum a complete report on this prop at about the
125-hour point so that I can speak and recommend with some experience.  If you
need further or sooner discussion regarding this prop and how to install, etc.,
please email me direct; gregsays@swbell.net.  To your specific question of the
application of the Ivoprop to high altitudes, I have never landed at more than
2300' but I do climb well at high altitudes.  Even at 13000 feet on a summer's
day, my plane climbs at 700 feet per minute (long wings and 3-blade prop) without
excess heat or effort.                             Greg Nelson
