What is the best way to do the gear retraction testing for the L IV?  I've
seen it done two different ways: up on jacks with lead shot bags on the
engine  attached to an engine hoist nose down, and up on jacks with the tail
tie down attached to a weighted tail support with the nose slightly up
without an engine hoist.  Does the first way have an advantage in case the
airplane fell off the jacks at least you won't damage the prop?
