I agree with Ed. My strategy when I started this (in '92 !) when Neico was still
much smaller than SH, was to purchase any and all parts that could be sourced
only from Neico. That pretty much made me immune to any issues they might run into.
Given how well they've done, I could have saved my money and purchased as I went along.
I considered it cheap insurance. If I move on to a IV, I'll use the same tactic.
However, given that Neico appears to be run by a team with good business sense,I believe they'll be around for quite some time.
I've better things to worry about - like how to get that .75 x 5" KNS102 connector (prewired
from PCA) through a 1x2" hole.

Jeffrey, The answer to your question of whether others share your concern or
something about loose screws is some of both. Fact is though, that there's
nothing we can do about it and it should have been a decision factor 5 years ago
when we bought our kits. It's one of the several big risks we all agreed to
(knowingly or unknowlingly) when we signed up for the program. Worrying about
it now is counterproductive, except as possible inducement to get out to the
garage and finish our birds up. Unless Lancair opens their books, all we would
do is speculate and there's no margin in that.
