I bought my MT constant speed (hydraulic) prop several years ago. Possibly 6 years -- I'd have to check. I am not yet flying.
1) What would symptoms be of a propellor that needed work? Exuding grease during operation? What should I be looking for during my initial flights? What characteristic would cause me to say "Whoops! Better stop flying and send the prop to Florida right now" ?
2) How much does a prop inspection cost? I could envision a flight to Florida when the initial flight test period is complete.
