Gary,

I believe it is fair to say that the majority of Legacy's are flying around without static wicks. I only know of one that used to have them but they have been removed. I am speaking of 199L, the demo Legacy that Lancair has been using for years.

G’Day All,

I am interested in hearing from anyone out there flying a Lancair Legacy without having static wicks fitted.

I would like to hear what avionics equipment you have installed and if it is affected at any stage.

Happy to hear from anyone for or against the idea of flying the Legacy without static wicks.
