| You think that's lucky? I rode from SC to MS and back with Lorn about 10 years ago to look at a 360. Then the guy in the 360 did a couple of aero maneuvers while I had no idea of his skill. Now that's luck! I survived 2 Lancair pilots in one day :-P.
Now the Glasair guys on the other hand...they are very wise ;)

I've read your posts through the years about your hard landings, engine failures, almost running out of fuel, etc and have concluded you are either one lucky guy or God really looks after you. Taking off with a KNOWN problem is a big "no-no" but you probably already knew that. Of course the better solution would have been to get another battery at a local battery store (that's why I used Odysseys) or to delay my trip and put the battery on a charger. I am glad nothing serious happened.
