Absolutely.
Also important is a long list of other factors
affecting tire life.
Crosswinds are probably the biggest offender.
I'll bet a little sideslip on landing will cost you 10 good landings worth of
rubber. Landing speed,
runway surface roughness and runway length, braking
technique, aircraft weight, tire pressure and wheel alignment and balance. etc,
etc.

I realize the subject is 360 tires and I have a
Legacy. I notice people are saying their tires are lasting XXX number of
hours. I would think a better measure would be the number of landings a person
gets on a given tire. I got 195 landings on my last main gear
tire.
