Speaking of LED lighting, have any of you looked at the AVEOFLASH
combination nav/strobe units? We installed the wingtip and tail units on our
C150 Aerobat and they appear so much brighter than the units we removed. No
strobe power supplies, low voltage wiring and easily programmed to the flash
cycle you want. Nice units. We're planning to upgrade our RV-6 as the PS is
marginal and the whole AVEOFLASH rig is not that much more than just the
power supply for the current set-up. Rick Lafford

The easy choice-both.

Leds on the tips (wig wag all the time like yours).

Hid on the gear- they throw off SO much light - should be really nice
in the flair and taxi.

The best of both worlds.

Then likely all LED in the not so distant future?

Good test. So what's your final answer? For me, it's LEDs.
