I read your post with concern, as I
also have a VM-1000 in my panel. Just curious what problems you're
having. I'm working on my annual right now and one of the things on my
list is to replace the VM's clock battery, as the one in it is 9 or 10 years
old. Please keep me posted on what kind of support you're able to
get.
I also wanted to ask if you have any
feedback on all the work you did to your gear legs. I've been talking with
a couple of RV drivers who have the exact same issues we have and I'm convinced
the shaking is symptomatic of tubular gear legs and something we just have to
learn to live with, but I would like to know if you see any changes from
improving the fit of the legs in their mounts.
