Greetings,

I would like to hear some opinions on the sufficiency of the cockpit
heating and ventilation as described in the Lancair 320 manual.

For example, are the two vents with NACA scoops down by one's legs
sufficient for cooling in the summertime?  Should I add a NACA scoop
on the tail and duct fresh air up to the top of the cabin?  How about
the heating?  FYI: I live in Colorado, so the climate is not terribly
extreme one way or the other (i.e., Minnesota or Arizona).

My goal is to not add any more weight, complexity or unnecessary
work to my airplane than I have to.  However, if the current system
is not sufficient then I prefer to make the mods the mods now rather
than after I am flying.

Thanks!

Dan
