I fly a 360 but the engine blanket/stainless steel combo are the same.

I cut out the firewall blanket in way of the engine mounting flange and substituted a large area washer.  Purists may argue that I have lost the insulation in that area but the engine mounting bolts have never come loose and due to this could not cycle and cause fatigue.

A circumstance where you could turn the bolts easily with a wrench when they are supposed to be tight is a high pucker up factor for me.  I would change the bolts and if you do not want to remove the blanket then at least check the tightness every 25 hours.
