I cut out the firewall blanket in way of the engine mounting flange and = substituted a large area washer. Purists may argue that I have lost the = insulation in that area but the engine mounting bolts have never come = loose and due to this could not cycle and cause fatigue. =20 A circumstance where you could turn the bolts easily with a wrench when = they are supposed to be tight is a high pucker up factor for me. I = would change the bolts and if you do not want to remove the blanket then = at least check the tightness every 25 hours.
