Terrance,
I have one Odyssey in my 320 Engine is 8.5:1. I don’t remember if it is 625
or bigger, I can confirm to you as soon as back home next week. I'm very
satisfied with it. Just to say, to start the engine I use to turn the crank
for 3 or 4 seconds without magnets. The idea is to wake up the oil. After
that I wait circa 10 seconds and then start the engine. I have never had any
problem with the battery doing this way but you need to consider that it is
quite new. Necessary to say that in my hangar we also have one RV, one Comp
Air (Walter turbine) and one Stearman, all of them using Odysseys. They are
also very happy with their batteries.
My 320 is fiber, only the horizontal is carbon.

Subject: [LML] 2 questions

1. What's a reasonable life for an Odyssey PC625 battery -- and do they die
suddenly?
2. Are the fuselage skins on the L235s glass or carbonfibre?
Comments invited.
Thnaks.
