I need some help guys.  I ran my IO-360 model B1F for the first time in several
months this weekend.  The engine won't idle below 1200 rpm or else it quits as
if the mixture were pulled.  The first two times on the starter, the engine
coughed but didn't catch.  On the third time it caught but was very rough until
the rpms were brought up with added throttle.  Previous runs of the engine were
much better, with the best being the initial time it was started where it would
almost idle at 600 rpm (throttle pulled all the way back).  It would also start
on the first cough.  It seems to have gotten progressively worse.  I haven't
touched the linkages on the stock injector unit.  The engine is a new factory
unit.  As an aside, I can't raise the power much over 22 inches or I drag the
tires! (wings and associated weight not installed)

Might this problem be fuel line contamination with particulates?  If so, where
might they accumulate and how do I clean affected parts?  I have an inline
filter just under the header tank.  Other things to try?

Thanks,
Ed de Chazal
