For our French friends,

Does anyone know if you are flying for hire in France if you must comply with the manufacturer's recommendation with respect to overhaul of the engines? For example, if you are flying for hire or compensation (similar to our Part 135 or Part 121 in the U.S.) and the engine manufacturer (TCM) recommends an overhaul at 1500 hours then you cannot operate the engine beyond 1500 hours.

Is there a French regulation or an EASA regulation that you can refer me to?

Best Regards,

Jeff Edwards
