Well, at least the sun will
likely penetrate to the back of his hangar when the door is open…unlike the
relocated temple at Abu Simbel in Egypt!

Angier,
The Sun at the Beverly
Municipal Airport in Massachusetts, on December 21st noon Eastern
Time, will have a magnetic azimuth of 200 deg and an elevation of only 26
degrees. Even without the calculations I’ll take a bold guess that it
will be “freezing-ass-cold!”
Hope this helps… J

I'm
about to begin hangar construction at Beverly Municipal Airport -
KBVY. :-) Placement of the door will be to the south but I'd like
to be a bit more specific than that. So for those of you who may be
skilled in the black art of trig and celestial navigation, here is the
brain teaser. What is the magnetic bearing of the sun at noon on December
21st at location:
42-35'02.55"N
/ 70-54'35.43"
Thanks
in advance!
