Ok......I'm going to install the header tank, because that was my personal
decision. It's a much simpler fuel management design in my opinion. I have
a question for those with header tanks. My kit did not come with the fuel
cap installed or included with the header tank. Is it ........ in your
opinions.......... ok to leave the header tank without a fuel cap? I'm
thinking like Dan Schaefer here that I can top the header before I fuel so I
only have to fuel the wings. But, should I install the cap for those long
x-country flights where I will exhaust the wings and some of the header tank
also?
Opinions please.

As far as excessive pilot work load in the terminal phase, I just make sure
the header is serviced about 20 minutes prior to getting busy, then I son't
mess with it until I'm on the ground. (I usually run the transfer pump
again
after I'm on the ground so I usually only have to add fuel to the wing
tanks - so I'm lazy).
