My Cessna 150 is as simple as it comes.  One valve, on or off.  The Lancair is not as simple.  Nevertheless, I am on Bo's bandwagon here, having retained the header tank and bought an automatic fuel transfer system.  I hope to be able to turn it on and forget it.  Time will tell.
