For those of you who intstalled Skybolt fasteners, what preparation did you do?

1)  Reinforcement

I'm told that making the sides of the cowling thicker by adding material to the inner top edge of the lower cowling is beneficial.  How much did you add?  (1 BID?  2 BID?)  Did you add anything to the mating edge of the upper cowling?  I'm assuming that this is not required along the top aft edge where it mates to the forward deck.

2)  Countersinking

For those of your who countersunk the holes,  did you do anything special?  Is a standard countersink tool adequate? 
3)  Parts

Which fasteners did you use?  Precise part numbers would be appreciated.  It's tough to tell what's what in the on-line catalog.

DISCLAIMER:  I do *not* want to revive the discussion about Livelock fasteners.  That has been covered adequately recently.  I'm only concerned about installation techniques for the Skybolt option.  I'm not trying to be insulting, but I don't want this thread to get off-topic.  Thanks for your consideration.
