Mike wants to know the best way to run the throttle cable to a forward
mounted throttle-body. Mike, I felt that the area between the sump and the
exaust way way to small to rout the throttle cable. (much to close to the
exaust pipe). I made a gentle bend about 1 1/2 " below the pipe which gave
pleanty of clearance to the cowling. If I remenber , I also made a tie-down
attachment for one one the 1/8" pipe thread holes that are on the bottom of
the sump. Many years ago I had a Q-2 that had the trottle cable melt at
2000 RPM's. That was it , either 2000 or 0. Needles to say I am still here,
but it does linger in my memory. Sincerely, Fred N9BF (Don't fly like my
brother)
