Any way of knowing what % of Lancair pilots are private, comm, etc?
If private pilots make up 40% of Lancair pilots then the Lancair rates for
private pilots are the same as over all GA.

More numbers:
57% of our Lancair accidents involve
pilots with less than 100 hours in the Lancair model. 40% of the Lancair
accident pilots had less than 50 hours in type at the time of the accident.
The GA number for the last 3 years according to the Nall report is between 43
and 47% of the accident pilots had less than 100 hours in type. (see AOPA ASF
Nall Report).
35% of the total pilot population hold Private
Pilot certificates. 48% of the GA accidents occur to Private Pilots. 55% of
our Lancair accidents involve Private Pilots.
