Ed, don't even think of returning that goop to the engine sump. Just let the
trash the separator collects run into a small container (anything will do)
that can be emptied from time to time. If you take one look aat the goop
that comes out of the separator, it'll be obvious that it shouldn't go back
into your engine.

Incidentally, ACS makes a nice one with enough aluminum surface to condense
most of the gasses coming out of the breather.
