Elevator up and down are to book specifications. Some time in the next couple of months, I will try to stop by when you are home and we can do some inspecting.
I would like to know why our planes fly so differently (if they really do).

If you need 80 kts to get the nosewheel off the ground, sounds like you've got an elevator travel problem. Not necessarily a trim problem. Are you able to get the book specified deflection?
