Subject: Thickness of 1 bid

I've searched the archives but couldn't find any reference to a typical thickness of 1 bid.  I'm trying to verify some flap pads I made about 2 years ago to see if they are correct.  Does .01" or .23mm sound close (I used duct tape)?

Thanks
Doug
