Mine's on the left wedge part of the aft cabin bulkhead, spaced from other electrical and metal per magnetometer caveats from the hydraulic pump on the front side of that bulkhead.  Seems to work on the ground.... not flying yet.

Also stay away from power wiring, strobe power supplies, strobe wiring, autopilot servos.  In the Legacy a fiberglass mounting bracket bonded to the top of the fuselage just behind the baggage bulkhead works well.
