Some time ago I had a mixture cable snap when I was shutting down the engine-this could have been made for a more sticky situation should it have happened in flight.

I believe this is not uncommon with Lycomings.

I was wondering has anyone sourced a more heavy  duty mixture cable for the 0-320 then the "standard" rather flimsy one I was supplied through Lancair?
