Roger,
I can't make a comparison but can tell you about my Superior XP -360. This is the engine I ordered and had assembled by Eagle Performance in Redding, CA. The Extreme 360 package was added with options. They were: investment cast Millenium II cylinders, 10 to 1 pistons, dual Lightspeed Plasma III electronic ignitions, Ryton plastic sump with cold air induction, Airflow Performance Injection System and 40 amp B&C Alternator with 8 amp B&C backup mounted on the vacuum pad. During installation ram air was installed with a 68" Aerocmposites prop. After 60 hours of flight time I have been happy with the performance of the equipment and support from Superior, Eagle, Lightspeed, Airflow, B&C and Aerocomposites. Driving people crazy with questions does not generally foster good relations but these venders have been very supportive. I can not say the same of Lycoming.
On my second test flight (the first with gear up) the aircraft showed and indicated 210 kts. whiched was confirmed by two gps units and the chase aircraft (SX - 300). Real ground speed was 212 kts. It' pretty hard to complain about the little tweaking problems when my expectations on performance were exceeded by such a large margin. There are some people on my field that have the ECI engines and are happy with them so the choice is yours.

Subject: [LML] Eci or Superior Engine ?
Gents,

One is for titanium 360 engine and one is XP360. 10:1 Injected.
They both has its good and bad I guess.... ??
It could be very nice to get others experience and if anyone have made
a sheet for +/- I would be very happy to see.
As well I would like to hear from others what the must have is.
Like sump type, gov etc.
Please help me in this important progress so I'm not ending up in a disaster again!
Best regards
